DIRECTOR - Imelda Leahy BA (Hons), PGCE, MTI, ISPA
Imelda has worked in the Massage Therapy industry for 17 years. She is the Founder and Director of The Holos Massage School (est. in London in 1993) and has successfully trained many therapists, at all levels. She has also worked extensively as a Massage Therapy examiner for The Massage Training Institute. She qualified in Massage, Aromatherapy and MLD and also trained in Sports and Remedial Massage, MET and Osteopathic soft tissue techniques. Having taught for 10 years, she took time out to have a baby and she now concentrates on course design and managing the school office from her home in Brighton. |

SENIOR LECTURER – DARIEN PRITCHARD CERT.ED. MTI FM
Darien Pritchard has been a bodyworker for over 30 years and a trainer for 25 years, influenced by the study of Yoga, Tai Chi, creative dance and the Feldenkrais Method® of movement awareness. Since the late 1980s, Darien has taught a programme of professional development workshops for Massage Therapists in Australia, the UK and Scandinavia.
For many years he was a Co-Director of The Massage Training Institute (MTI), which is a professional organisation of holistic massage schools and he served on the Executive Committee of the General Council for Massage Therapy, to which MTI is affiliated.
Darien established and ran The Massage Study Centre in South Australia (1981-89) and also The Cardiff School of Massage, South Wales (1991 - 2002). He is a guest teacher on the practitioner training course at the Royal National College for the Blind at Hereford.
He co-authored the student textbook 'Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology for the Massage Therapist' (Corpus Publications; 2nd Ed, 2004) and wrote the definitive, career maintenance reference book 'Dynamic Bodyuse for Effective, Strain-Free Massage' (Lotus Publications, UK; North Atlantic Books, USA; 2007).

SENIOR LECTURER - LOUISE BATEMAN ITEC, APNT, ISTD, C & G
Louise joined The Holos Massage School in 2005. She is a highly popular and skilled teacher who is very passionate about her work, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, approachable and patient. She has many years of clinical and teaching experience to support our students in their learning. Her previous background was in Massage, Dance, Choreography, Body Conditioning, Alignment and Relaxation Techniques. Louise has specialised in studying patterns of soft tissue dysfunction and also the diagnosis and treatment of soft tissue injury. |

TUTOR - SIVA RAJAN APNT (Dip), ITEC, MTI, TTYM
Siva joined us in 2005. She practices Holistic, Sports and Advanced Traditional Thai Yoga Massage and is a Massage in Schools Instructor. She works in gyms, schools and sees corporate and private clients in and around London. She teaches Sports Massage and Thai Yoga Massage and is passionate about ongoing learning (including accelerated Learning), movement, energy and touch. |
